Apply to ASU

Freshman Orientation and Advising
All new freshmen are required to participate in orientation. During the orientation session, students will receive academic advising, participate in placement exams, and register for courses for their first semester at ASU. Students can find information about orientation at http://students.asu.edu/orientation.

All first time students are required to seek advising prior to registering for their first semester. Please contact the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for more information at (480) 965-3391 regarding orientation information.

If you are a new freshman who has already attended orientation, have missed all orientation dates, or have been admitted as a freshman for spring semester, please click here to schedule an advising appointment.

Freshman Enrollment Workshops
At the Freshmen Workshop you will learn how to access and read your DARS report, learn the significance of Holds placed on your account, and other important information regarding enrolling for your 2nd semester at ASU. We will be looking over major maps and critical courses specific to majors in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry.

This Workshop is designed to accommodate Freshmen students who are not in the CHM 191 classes. In addition to sharing information, one goal is for students to have specific classes in mind so that they are ready for their Enrollment Appointment.
