Department's New Administration
	Dr. William Petuskey Interim Chair Dr. Petuskey received his Sch.D from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1977. He started working with ASU's Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry in 1983. His experiences include Associate Professor (1983-1996), Assistant Chair (1986-1990), Associate Chair ( 2002-2006) and Professor (1996- present). He is also the Co-Director of the Science and Engineering of Materials Ph.D. Program at ASU. More information about Dr. William Petuskey
	Dr. James Allen Interim Associate Chair Dr. Allen received his Ph.D from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champain, in 1982. He joined ASU's Deparment of Chemistry & Biochemistry in 1989. He has been Assistant Professor ( 1989-1995), Associate Professor (1995-1999), and Professor (1999-present). Dr. Allen 's Message: "I look forward towards serving the department this year in my new position as Interim Associate Chair. As Associate chair, I will help the new Interim Chair, Bill Petuskey, oversee many ongoing changes, including new faculty hires, a greatly increasing number of undergraduate and graduate students, and many exciting research developments. I will keep an open door policy and encourage alumni and visitors to contact me with any questions concerning the department. " More information about Dr. James Allen
