Welcome to High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) Lab at Arizona State University

The High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) Lab is a state of the art mass spectrometry facility whose primary function is to serve the needs of the ASU research community.  A secondary focus is to provide fee-based MS services to the research community at large, both industrial and academic.

Currently, there are 3 mass spectrometers installed in PSD124, including 2 double focusing systems and a TOF unit.

Several modes of ionization are available to analyze a variety of sample types. They include electron ionization (EI), chemical ionization (CI), fast atom bombardment (FAB), electrospray ionization (ESI) and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI). In addition, GC-MS, LC-MS, and linked-scan experiments can be performed.
